I hereby announce my intention to seek election for District Attorney of the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit. In 1998, District Attorney of the Ocmulgee Judicial Circ...uit, Fred Bright, offered me the position of Assistant District Attorney. Under Fred’s mentorship, I gained valuable trial experience, and a passion for the administration of justice. My 7 years as an ADA coupled with 16 years as a Milledgeville's Municipal Court Prosecutor and private practitioner prepares me best to serve our community as District Attorney. I thank all of you who have encouraged me to run for this position. Today, I humbly ask for your support to continue my passion in seeking justice as your District Attorney of the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit.

Georgia law allows you to restrict (expunge) your record, while you are SERVING a sentence under the Georgia First Offender Act. If you are presently serving a sentence under the First Offender Act, a background check will allow potential employers to see that you are serving a criminal sentence even though you have not yet been convicted. If you are presently serving a first offender sentence, please contact our office and make an appointment so that we can determine whether your particular case qualifies for restriction while you are serving.
