NOTICE OF WORK SESSION BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF CATOOSA COUNTY, GEORGIA JANUARY 19, 2021 AT 5:00 P.M. Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Catoosa County, Georgia will hold a work session on Tuesday January 19, 2021 beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Public Meeting Room of the Catoosa County Administration Building, 800 Lafayette Street, Ringgold, GA 30736. The purpose of the work session is for the Board of Commissioners to receive information and discuss the items on the Board’s published 1/19/21 Preliminary Meeting Agenda as well as any other County matters which may come before the Board. No action will be taken on any item or matter in the work session and public comments will not be received.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Catoosa County, Georgia will hold its regular meeting Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. in the Public Meeting Room in the Catoosa County Administrative Building located at 800 Lafayette Street, Ringgold, Georgia. In accordance with Governor Brian Kemp's executive orders, social distancing requirements will limit visitation to 50 visitors. We look forward to seeing our guests Tuesday evening. The County will also be live-streaming the meeting on the County Facebook page.
The regularly scheduled meeting of the Catoosa County Development Authority/Development Authority of Catoosa County will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2020 at 4:00p.m. at The Colonnade located at 264 Catoosa Cir., Ringgold, GA.... Catoosa County Commissioners are ex-officio members of the Development Authority. There is a possibility that a quorum of Commissioners may be present. The Catoosa County Health Department, an affiliate of the Georgia Department of Public Health, announced the suspension of its drive-through COVID-19 testing program so that resources can be committed to scheduling, preparing, and providing COVID-19 vaccinations. Currently, Catoosa County residents aged 65 and over, medical providers and first responders can schedule vaccine appointments by calling (706) 406-2000 and selecting menu option #2. Medical providers and first respo...nders only can sign up online at www.nwgapublichealth.org. Plans are to begin providing COVID-19 vaccines by appointment only on Tuesday, January 19 at the Catoosa County Health Department, 145 Catoosa Circle in Ringgold. Vaccinations for other age groups and populations will be available as soon as vaccine supplies increase and as immunization eligibility requirements in Georgia are expanded. People wishing to receive free drive-through COVID-19 testing can visit the Georgia Department of Public Health/Walker County Health Department testing site at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 289 Dunwoody Road, Lafayette, on Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Additionally, COVID-19 tests are available through a variety of private medical providers. In the near future Catoosa County will support additional public vaccination locations throughout the community in partnership with Catoosa County Public Schools and the Catoosa County Emergency Management Agency.
