There is some concern about fuel availability in Thomas County because of the pipeline shutdown. There is no fuel shortage but there may be delays in delivery if the pipeline is down for several days. Fuel will be shipped and trucked if necessary. The only way this becomes a shortage is through panic buying. Just keep to your normal fuel buying habits and that will help alleviate the situation.

Bottom Line: No Major changes have been made to the marginal risks for Today and Tuesday, with much of the risk for today includes portions of southwest Georgia, the western Florida Big Bend and Panhandle, and all of SE Alabama. The Marginal risk for Tuesday includes the majority of the forecast area except extreme south eastern portions of the Florida Big Bend. Overall the impacts expected across the marginal risk areas over the next two days are strong damaging wind gust...s and isolated large hail up to quarter size. Overview: A cold front that is currently approaching the area from southern Mississippi will make its way into southeast Alabama and southwest Georgia throughout the mid morning today. This front is expected to stall over the region through Wednesday. The front is expected to push south of the area by Thursday; however, strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible along this front particularly during the afternoon and evening hours.
