This is a reminder that the Department of Public Health is offering COVID-19 testing at Jackson County High School (1668 Winder Hwy, Jefferson) through Saturday... of this week. They will also be testing next week (May 11-15). The testing hours are M-F 8:30am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 12pm. It is recommended that you call the nurse hotline at (706)340-0996 before coming. May 11th City Council Meeting Update The next meeting of the Arcade City Council will take place on Monday, May 11th at 7:00 pm here at City Hall. There will be items on the agenda that will require action by the Council and by law, the City is required to provide a means for the public to participate through comment for such meetings. Due to the ongoing requirements for social distancing, it is likely that this meeting will be in some sort of virtual format and comments/part...icipation will be be in a format that does not include in-person comments. At this time, the specific format has not been determined but will be posted to this page during the week of May 4th and placed on the City'a website as well. Please stay tuned...
