Curbside is available Monday - Friday from 10am - 12pm and 3pm - 5pm and book returns are available any time. Curbside services include: picking up books placed on holds through PINES; printing, copying, and faxing; notary services; and outdoor computer access. For more information, please visit https://ngrl.org/curbside. If you've got questions or need help, please call the library at 706-876-1360. The building is not open to the public at this time. Keep an eye on our Facebook page and on our website for the most up-to-date information. We hope everyone is able to stay safe and healthy!

Effective Tuesday, December 8th, Curbside Service is back on at the Dalton Whitfield County Public Library! We are thrilled to reopen our curbside service to our community, now with extended hours. Our book drops have also reopened if you have items you would like to return. During our curbside hours, we also have staff members who can provide notary services, we can print and make copies for you, and we can provide a laptop computer for your use. Curbside Service is off...ered Monday-Friday from 10 AM - 12 PM and 3 PM - 5 PM. A note from the library director: NGRL follows CDC guidelines and safety protocols. In order to decrease post-Holiday travel and festive gatherings COVID-19 virus transmission spikes, daily curbside services schedules may change. The holiday service schedule will be announced as soon as possible. Thank you, and happy holidays! If you are new to Curbside Service, let me briefly explain: To sign-up, library card holders should visit www.gapines.org. Patrons can put on hold up to five items per day. Once the items are on hold, visit www.ngrl.org/curbside, complete the form and a member of the library staff will contact you to arrange pick-up. We have new hardback and paperback books for adults and children. We have the latest in Young Adult fiction. We have movies old and new. We have audiobooks. We have video games. We have the classics. Odds are, if there is a book you want to read, we can get it for you. Library card patrons also have access to thousands of downloadable eBooks, eAudiobooks, and digital magazines at www.ngrl.org/downloads. If you have misplaced your library card, forgot your library card PIN, don’t have a library card, are struggling with putting books on hold, need recommendations, and/or want to hear a friendly voice, please call the library at 706-876-1360 or drop us an email at [email protected]. Dalton-Whitfield County Public Library’s Curbside service is closed Friday, October 30th Thursday, November 5th due to a positive COVID-19 test. Curbside service and returns will resume on November 6th. Curbside service is still available at the Calhoun-Gordon County Public Library during this time. If you want to take advantage of the service, make sure that you select Calhoun-Gordon County Public Library as the pick-up library in PINES as well as on the Curbside Registrat...ion form at https://ngrl.org/curbside.
