IT’S BEEN A WILD RIDE SAVANNAH! With mixed emotions, we announce the closing of Savannah Distillery Ale House. The Distillery opened 12 years ago to become Savannah’s premier craft beer bar and restaurant. It was a Volen Family endeavor with our kids Ben, Hanna and Julia running our mom & pop shop. It was the beginning of the craft beer and cocktails movement in Savannah. And man did we have a great time!... But our kids have all moved on now to new adventures (including 7 grandkids) and we find ourselves ready for retirement. We treasure the friendships we’ve made along the way and the staff who have become like family. Thank you for your patronage over the years and your continued support as we figure out our next adventure. The Savannah Distillery Ale House will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday over the next two weeks with final party Drain the Taps on February 1st (watch for details tba on facebook) Cheers!
