DRAWDOWN - Lake Sinclair will begin its scheduled homeowner maintenance drawdown on Monday October 26th, 2020. The lake will lower approximately 6 per day until the target level of 335’ M.S.L is reached (5’ below full pool). The lake will then fluctuate between the range of 335’ and 337’ M.S.L. daily until November 29th. Lake levels are dictated by inflows so please be aware that heavy rain events could raise the lake level above this operating range. Equipment or building s...upplies should not be kept in the lakebed for this reason. If you plan to remove your boat from your boathouse for the drawdown, we urge you to make these arrangements no later than weekend of October 24-25. Any work done on shoreline structures must have a permit before the work begins. Please contact Jay Weems for Baldwin and Hancock Counties at 706-484-7521 or [email protected] or Sandra Hudson for Putnam County at 706-484-7509 or [email protected]. All permit requests should be sent by email.

If you want to visit one of our state’s beautiful lakes this holiday weekend (because of course you do), remember to follow guidelines on social distancing, face masks and group-size. And as always, SPLASH safely!
