We’re almost done repainting the inside of the house. We took everything off the walls for a top-to-bottom re-organization of all the display areas. Our goal is to complete this total refresh in time to hold an Open House in late April!! Stay tuned!

With daylight savings time comes a change in the hours that we are open. starting March 17th, Our hours are Wednesday 10am-1pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. We hope you’ll stop by and see the progress we’re making on refreshing the wallls with a fresh coat of paint and re-organizing all the displays throughout the house.

UPDATE: The City of East Point and JenCare Senior Medical Center are opening their Drive-Thru COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic to the public on Saturday, March 6, 2021, ...from 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. at the JenCare Senior Medical Center in East Point, located at 2084 Headland Drive. This clinic is in partnership with Visiting Nurse and Physician Pharmacy. Health officials will administer the Pfizer Vaccine to those eligible to receive the vaccine. Registered participants must bring their ID. Vaccine available for: Adults aged 65+ and their caregivers First Responders Healthcare Workers Long Term Care Facilities Staff & Residents There is a limited vaccine supply and registration is required to receive the vaccine. To register, call 404-270-7091 and leave a message with your name, address, and phone number. You can also email [email protected]. The registration deadline is Friday, March 5, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Registered participants are encouraged to arrive early to the vaccination site to complete on-site paperwork. Transportation will be provided, if needed, for East Point residents only. The second dose of the Pfizer Vaccine will be available on March 27th from 10am-2pm at the JenCare Senior Medical Center in East Point.
