And last but not least, meet Kristin Wren, BSN, RN, CCRN. Kristin joins our program from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta where she worked in the PICU for the last 7.5 years. Prior to her employment, Kristin earned her BSN from Kennesaw State University in 2012. While starting school again after being out for a while, Kristin is lucky part of her support system is also starting schoolin kindergarten!

Meet Brittany Trunell, BSN, RN, CCRN. Brittany earned her degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2017. Shortly after graduation, she began working in the CVICU at Univ of Mississippi Medical Center. During nursing school. Brittany was able to present at three conferences the research she assisted with during a summer internship, including a 3rd place poster presentation. Welcome to Georgia, Brittany! Meet Jordan Truby, BSN, RN, CCRN. Jordan joins our program from Houston, Texas. He earned his BSN from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2017. Shortly after graduation, Jordan began work at Texas Children’s Hospital in the CVICU. He served as a preceptor for his unit for the past two years! Welcome to Atlanta, Jordan! Meet Collin Schalk, BSN, RN, CCRN. Collin joins our family from WellStar Kennestone Hospital where he worked in the Surgical Trauma ICU for the past 3 years. He earned his BSN from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing in 2017. While in nursing school, Collin also served on multiple executive board positions. Welcome to Emory, Collin! Meet Everett Moss II, BSN, RN, CCRN. Everett joins our cohort from Grady Memorial Hospital where he has worked in the Surgical Trauma ICU for the past 1.5 years. Everett earned his BSN from Chamberlain University in 2017. Prior to and after nursing school, he has also worked as a flight nurse and paramedic. Welcome to the Emory family, Everett! Gaines has worked in the Pediatric ICU for the past 6 years. During the last 3 years, she has served as a preceptor. Gaines obtained her BSN from Auburn University in 2014. Welcome, Gaines! Meet Cat Lofaro, BSN, RN, CCRN. Cat joins our program from Durham, NC where she worked in the CTICU at Duke University Hospital. Cat has over 6 years of critical care experience spanning across multiple ICU specialties. Cat received her BSN from Lincoln Memorial University in 2014. During her time there, she served as the President of the Student Government Association and Vice-President of the Student Nurses Association. We’re so glad you’re joining us, Cat!

Meet Amber Hatchett, BSN, RN, CCRN. Amber completed her BSN at the University of Buffalo in 2017 where she also received her BA in Psychology in 2016. Amber gained most of her nursing experience from Buffalo General Medical Center where she has worked in both the MICU and CVICU over the past three years. After moving to Atlanta earlier this year, Amber began working with Emory Healthcare. Fun fact: Amber was team captain of her Div I NCAA Women’s Volleyball team during her BSN!

Meet Tina Evangelista, BSN, RN, CCRN. Tina is joining our program from Medical University of South Carolina. After receiving her BSN there in 2014, she soon began work in the Pediatric ICU. Tina has also been an ECMO specialist for the past two years. Prior to nursing school, Tina received her BS in Biology at Clemson University. Welcome to Emory!!

Meet Chelsey Coneway, BSN, RN, CCRN. Chelsey received her BSN from Valdosta State University in 2018. Chelsey has worked in the respiratory ICU for the past 2 years at Emory University Hospital. We are so excited to see her make the jump from the clinician side to the student side of Emory!
