Happy Halloween

Shout out to Alexis for passing Level I Alexis began riding with us at a very young age and is now riding some of our tougher horses like Lacey and Satchmo, but Candyman still has her heart Congratulations!

While we are disappointed we were unable to hold our annual Halloween Party this year, we still had a few of our owners/leasers dress up their horses and take part in some Halloween festivities. For those that weren't able to participate, we've chosen some photos of their costumes from years past to enjoy. Happy Halloween!

Congrats to Garrett for passing Level I Garrett is always a huge help around the stable and constantly has a positive attitude. He’s up for new challenges and we can’t wait to see what he accomplishes next!

A Saturday is best spent showing under the arena lights Congratulations to all of our 2020 Show Team members on a successful last show of the season at Rolling Hills Saddle Club this past Saturday 9/26. They worked so hard this year to achieve their goals and we look forward to next season!

Inspired by Cavalia, our Dances with Horses Camp takes place each summer and consists of riders learning and memorizing a synchronized pattern on horseback, as well as vaulting maneuvers. The ultimate goal is to become tuned in to the rhythm of the horse, as well as improve the rider's balance, strength and creativity in the saddle. We're so proud of our campers this year and the show they put together! Check out the video of this year's Dances with Horses show:

And special shout out to Sarah who earned Series High Point for Showmanship, Equitation and Horsemanship, and Mackenna who earned the overall Series High Point for the Rookie Youth division, as well as Day End High Point for both Saturday and Sunday. Oh the places you'll go... We're thrilled to honor two of our graduating seniors who have been with us for many years - Caroline Riechel and Kaitlyn Schindler. When they submitted their college essays/resumes, they included what horses and our program meant to them and have allowed us to share their words with the rest of our Equestrian Reserve family. We are so proud to see what accomplished young women they have become. Congratulations to you both on your graduation!

We are so honored to celebrate our 20th anniversary this month! As of April 1, 2020, we have been open for 20 years. We could not have made it to this milestone without the support from all of our students and their families over the years, and we can't wait to see what else is in store for our program!

Adventuring in Dawson Forest Did you know that our Western Riding Camp goes on an away trail ride each year? We trailer the horses up to North Georgia for a 4-5 hour ride through nature. The horses and riders both had a blast!
