Congratulations to Dr. Anna Simpson on the award of her NASA Astrobiology Early Career Collaboration Award! This will let Dr. Simpson travel to Iceland ahead of the short FELDSPAR primary mission to learn and deploy various sampling strategies under collaboration with Oddur Vilhelmsson and Sean Skully!

Data retreat came to a close with a huge amount of data, 5 conference abstracts submitted and 1 talk fine tuned, as many papers nearing submission, pan fried cheese, several pounds of steak, and a jam fest with an acoustic guitar with the (partial) management team singing along with our new post doc. I don’t know how we find such wonderful people, but let’s keep hitting it hard in the field, in the lab, in data space, and in enjoying life. This will be a smaller field season, but it will be by far one of the best, as is every field season. Thank you to the entire team for all your hard work and for how well you work together. You make this project amazing.
