Did you know there are different varieties of peace lilies? This spathiphyllum sensation is our favorite! The ribbed leaves give it an interesting texture and as you can see they can get quite massive! So many of the larger houseplants require bright light but these guys thrive in medium and can even tolerate low light conditions. For this reason, we always keep some spathiphyllum sensation in the shop for when you need a larger statement plant for a lower light space. Peace lilies are very easy to grow so they’re perfect for beginners!

Seeing what orchid blooms have opened has become a morning ritual at the shop!

We have to admit we never really understood the hype over alocasia maharani UNTIL we plant sat for a customer while they were out of town who had one in their collection. After seeing those matte gray textured leaves in real life we had to have one! Photos just don’t do them justice! What plant were you not super into until you saw it irl?

Attention rare alocasia collectors! >>>>We have such a good selection of jewel alocasia varieties hitting the floor tomorrow including the elusive alocasia azlanii, alocasia dragon scale, and alocasia silver dragon! It goes without saying we only have a limited quantity of each so get em while ya can! (No holds!)

The shop smelled amazing last weekend and it was all thanks to this diplocaulobium tipuliferum bloom! This orchid species is found in Fiji and produces beautiful star shaped blooms that only last for around 12 hours. Though the blooms are short lived the diplocaulobium tipuliferum blooms frequently throughout the year!

Ficus Audreys are restocked just in time for the weekend! If you’ve got a spot with tons of bright light that could use some green then ficus Audrey may be your girl! Plus she’s way less finicky than her fiddle leaf fig cousin We love how this lady completes the space in her new home!

Get ready for some major orchid spam this week because we have a ton of new orchids hitting the floor tomorrow! We’re obsessed with orchids lately so we had to get some for the shop to share our excitement with you guys! This one is miltoniopsis Lilian Nakamoto Tanto. The blooms are stunning with the solid black center against bright white petals!

We have so many different varieties of astrophytum in the shop right now and some of them are about to bloom!!

We got in a few of these wild spider plants in our latest shipment this week! Has anyone else noticed how you don’t see these around much anymore? So weird since they’re supposed to be a more common plant. They have this kind of mid century look- we definitely snagged one for our house! Plus they’re so much fun to propagate with all their little offshoots. You guys really cleaned us out last week but the shop is looking super full and green again so be sure to swing through this weekend!

Took some much needed time off and spent the day at @atlbotanical with @the_lonesome_wolf and the warocqueanum of my dreams!

Grow lights aren’t just for winter-they’re also great for those dark corners of your home where you want to have plants but don’t have enough natural light for them to thrive. These pendant lights by @rousseau_atl are not only the best grow lights we’ve tried, they’re by far the most beautiful!

We were already in love with the texture of this Adromischus marianiae f. herrei but when it produced these little tubular blooms it became our new favorite plant in the shop! You can snag one of these rare succulents tomorrow during our new store hours 12-4!
