Police are asking for help locating a teen who left home early Wednesday morning and may be in Cedartown. Kaitlin Pickett is 15 and is a student at Pepperell HS.

The Floyd County Police Department is pleased to debut a Christmas fundraiser to gift children with bicycles this year. GMC Value Mart is smoking Boston butts that we will be distributing on December 5 to raise the money to buy the bicycles (we strongly encourage you to pre-order). Children don't understand the economic of poverty, and in most cases don't understand why they can't have Christmas. Help us bring some cheer to kids this season.

Thank you Pi Gamma Mu from Shorter University for the donation of stuffed animals to give children at crime scenes. The donations were from students and faculty at the school to help us comfort children.
