Our sister bar, Joystick Gamebar, is reopening at 4pm on April 9th. We'll be following their lead very shortly.

We've been getting messages asking when (or if) we are reopening. The short answer is YES! We're hoping to share that opening date soon. Thanks for checking in with us.

This is how the City of Atlanta treats the murals they are responsible for maintaining? What should have been an easy removal of vinyl posters turned into a blow torching of history. They literally used a blow torch on this work of art without so much as knocking on our door. Shanequa Gay ( shanequagay_ on IG ), the artist behind the mural, spent hours and hours in the elements creating this. It is one of our favorite murals we’ve had at either bar, and it celebrates the wome...n of Atlanta who fought hard to make life better for all of us. The memory of the women honored don’t deserve this. Shanequa doesn’t deserve this. We can’t tell you how tired we are of seeing elected officials in Atlanta holding up the King Historic District as the heart and soul of Atlanta whenever they need it for a Glamor Magazine photoshoot only to ignore it when the cameras aren’t around. Mayor Bottoms and the City need to treat artists better. They’ve left things so much worse than they were 24 hours ago. We demand to know why the decision to use fire was made.
