These... goggles can be used with the Georgia Public Broadcasting Forestry Curriculum as well as so much more! FPD is very thankful for this donation, and we very excited to utilize them in our lower school. It is not too late to support the Georgia Forestry Foundation as a part of #GivingTuesday! Your support goes directly to fund our work in education and the environment, but also our efforts to find new ways to harness the power of Georgia's working forests. Mass timber unlocks the potential to use a green building material - wood - in tall buildings. Your support helps to support research, analysis and outreach that is focused on leveraging innovative uses for wood like mass timber that help to turn our buildings to carbon sinks rather than carbon emitters. Help us re-imagine Georgia's skylines! Donate today at:
Donations to GFF support the advancement of the benefits that working forests provide such as clean air, clean water, wildlife habitat and so much more. Proud to be working with Dovetail Partners, Inc. and Keeping Forests on this project, focused on identifying markets that connect forests to the clean drinking water benefits they provide. These types of markets will help to ensure the sustainability of privately owned working forests. Stay tuned for more!
