Our featured artist this month here in the Museum gift shop is none other than Matt Dougherty (https://www.instagram.com/gigantord) from Colorado. I thought his artwork was perfect for a slightly spooky holiday exhibit. All the pieces are for sale and you can view the exhibit without even paying admission to the museum. We’ll have this up until 1/1/21 so pop on by and check it out. xo

We have 3 new exhibits coming this winter. 1 is the personal collection of Nicu De Barcsy. This collection is so incredibly amazing that I’m still stunned I own it. Nicu was born in 1885 and maxed out at 35 inches tall. He seemingly kept everything throughout his life, this little suitcase being one of those items. I have his wallets, tons of pictures, his personal bible, his parents marriage certificate and so on. It’s seriously a TON of stuff. His mother was a bearded lady ...and his father played strong man and they traveled the world performing. Nicu chain-smoked cigars, a habit he started at age 10. He raised and sold rabbits for income post-sideshow career. He lived to be 91. At any rate, his life was incredible and we’re installing an exhibit that’ll detail it all. Cannot wait for you to see this stuff. xo . . . . #sideshow #circus #nicu #beardedlady #sideshowperformer See more

Yesterday, one of our customers died from a sudden cardiac arrest at the age of 37. He was a good dude who often supported us by buying our GRAVEFACE RECORDS re...leases. His friends/family started a gofundme to get them through this awful time. Please consider donating or sharing this. xo https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-for-the-bergers See more

Our first-ever art show in the museum opens this Friday and closes this Sunday. Description below. We're having an opening reception from 8-10pm Friday so make sure you pop on by. It's free and all ages. "I met Brad Siskin through pinball and our mutual love of 80s nostalgia but when I got a peek of his artwork my mind was blown. Several random words came to mind in looking at his art for the first time: grotesque, creatures, horror, ghosts, psychic ooze. And then I found ou...t why these random words were hitting me. His technique would be defined as automatic drawing. It’s a sub-genre of surrealism where the artist tries to empty his mind and effectively scribbles (related to psychics and spirit drawing). Many of the pieces will be for sale and I find his prices to be incredibly affordable so you can walk home with some originals. There is no fee to see these pieces and we’ll have an opening reception Friday the 23rd at 8pm so make sure you pop on by to meet the artist." See more
