Greene County Christian Learning Center 13.11.2020

Over 140 students from Greene County are taking a Bible class during the school day. Students from GCHS, Lake Oconee Academy, Carson Middle, Nathanael Greene Academy, and the Prep Academy will receive academic credit for a foundational survey course of the Old Testament. FIFTY Greene County High School students participate in this released-time education program as part of the Greene County Christian Learning Center. This is perfectly legal in public schools if parents grant... permission, students meet off campus, and all costs are privately funded. ATLAS is overjoyed to partner with the five participating schools in the county. We are also thankful for our dedicated teachers who meet with these students each day and share the love of Christ: Marvin Smith (GCHS and PREP), Keith Harris (CMS), Jay Thompson (LOA), Kevin Magness (LOA), Nesial Miller (GCHS), and Farrett Boswell (NGA). After finishing a lesson from their class, The History and Literature of the Old Testament, these GCHS students get to enjoy Atlas Ministry's new game room.
