We would like to make the public aware that we do have designated Meet-Up Spots located at 306 East Robinson Ave, Grovetown, GA 30813 (Grovetown Department of Public Safety Station One) these parking spaces are for anyone who needs a safe place to make internet purchases or child custody exchanges. **Update, the crossing is back open** The railroad crossing at East/West Robinson Avenue is currently closed due to the arms being stuck in the down position. CSX is aware of the issue and currently has a technician en route to correct the issue. Please be patient and avoid this area if possible.

Yesterday, (12/08/2020) at approximately 2:00pm a second suspect in the armed robbery that occurred at 106 Harlem-Grovetown Road, Grovetown, GA 30813 ( La Guadalajara) was identified as Edgar Perez of North Augusta. Edgar Perez was taken into custody and placed under arrest. The Grovetown Department Of Public Safety would like to thank the North Augusta Department Of Public Safety for their assistance in apprehending Edgar Perez.
