Bernice Williams is a Gulf War U.S. Army veteran who suffers from PTSD. The former Army medic needed a new HVAC unit and carpentry repairs to her Marietta home. Thanks to The Home Depot Foundation, our repair crew was able to help her achieve clean, mold-free warm air in the winter and cool air conditioning in the summer. I am not very social, and I try not to have anyone in my home. The fact that I felt I could trust Habitat and your staff helped a lot, said Williams. You guys really made an impact on my quality of life. I am super thankful. The United States military believes in leaving no one behind.
