Thanks to Blue Ridge Mountain EMC for putting up our Christmas Decorations on Main Street. Storms and outages have been abundant this season, we appreciate them working to make us look good on this dreary day! WHILE THE IN-PERSON LIGHT UP HIAWASSEE HAS BEEN CANCELLED THE LIGHTS WILL BE ON TOMORROW AT 6:30. WE'LL BE ON FACEBOOK LIVE TO SHOW OUR ELFS WORK!!

Tomorrow is Towns County day!!! FREE ADMISSION TO THE LIGHTS!!!

Sadly, the Light Up Hiawassee annual event will be cancelled this year....BUT the Square will remain lit from 5PM to Midnight starting this Saturday December 5th until January 6th. SANTA will be appearing virtually this year as well Saturday December 5th at 6PM! There are plenty of Photo Opportunities on the Square, bring your family our an snap some! AND LETTERS TO SANTA AT THE MAILBOX!! If you leave a return address, Santa will write back!

Community is what it's all about!! A few years ago we received a donation of the 2 giant snowmen that are on the square at the stage. Today, I received a call from the donor sharing that her daughter did those snowmen at the age of 16 and was here this weekend with her children to take pictures with the snowmen! GREAT STORY!! The Square will be lit up nightly starting this Saturday December 5th from 5PM-Midnight. Plenty of Photo Opportunities there!
