Pooches cooperative (on Facebook) accepted the little puppy that was dumped out at our barn earlier this week. She’ll be up for adoption after she has all her shots and is spayed. I hope she finds a good home and family, she’s a great little girl!

Here’s the latest animal to be dumped out at our barn. Female, maybe about 6 weeks old. Sweet and friendly. If you want to give her a good home, please contact me.

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who shared my post about the deaf cat that was dumped out at our barn. I greatly appreciate your help. Thank you so very much to Jill Johnston for giving her a new home! May you be blessed for your kindness!

Someone has dumped 4 female cats at our barn. This one is deaf. She is having a difficult time adjusting to life as a barn cat. If someone is able and willing to give her the safety and attention she needs, please contact me. I doubt she has been spayed since an owner responsible enough to have their animals spayed wouldn't be dumping them out.

Found a young deer this morning with her leg caught in the pagewire fence. Was able to free her and although the leg was skinned up, no bones were broken. She will have a scar (hair will be white) just above her hoof on the left rear leg so hopefully we’ll see her again on Straight Gut Road.

Sand hill cranes visited the corn field yesterday! Hard to get a good picture of a light gray bird with the day we had, but they were beautiful!
