Imagination Station Children's Museum of Augusta 11.01.2021

Imagination Station is so thankful that The Community Foundation of the CSRA has chosen us as one of the 48 nonprofits to receive a community grant this year. The grant focuses on exhibit items that grow literacy, sensorimotor and fine/gross motor skills. Imagination Station is excited about 2021, these updates to our children’s museum and continuing to reach out to the local children’s community. Thank you to The Community Foundation of the CSRA and the Masters Tournament.... https://www.cfcsra.org/community-foundation-for-the-csra-a/

This little guy accepted the challenge of building houses for the three little pigs and constructing chairs for Goldilocks and the three bears. He had a great time exploring our STEM: The Building Blocks of Success exhibit on his very first visit to Imagination Station. #imagineaugusta #stemforkids #childrensmuseum #loveaugusta

Did you know Imagination Station Children's Museum of Augusta operates on a cooperative, or co-op, model? A co-op is a member-owned, member-run organization that operates for the benefit of its members. Imagination Station is completely member-run and members can be as involved as they would like to be. Members staff open hours based on their commitment level. In exchange, members have unlimited access to the museum (due to COVID-19, members currently have exclusive access to the museum for their family alone), party rental eligibility and discounted or free programming and events. In previous years, Imagination Station has hosted a costume and card making event for the kind people at the Jud C. Hickey Center for Alzheimer's Care. This year, due to COVID-19, we are unable to dress in our Halloween costumes and take our cards to the center. However, we can still make them handmade Halloween cards to enjoy! Please consider making a Halloween card with your children and dropping them off in the provided box on Imagination Station's front porch. There is an awesome playground in Hickman Park you can play on afterwards and feel free to check out our Sensory Garden on the porch. Please make sure your child's name or initials and age are on the back. We would love to take pictures of their creations to share on our social media outlets! Feel free to message us or email [email protected] with any questions.
