The Irwin Co Extension/4-H is participating with the Watermelon Growing Contest. We have seeds ready along with a tip sheet for planting your watermelon seeds. During the month of February, Irwin Co 4-H’ers completed a community service project. Each 4-H’er made an encouraging card to spread smiles with the residents of the local nursing and retirement homes. Here are only a few of the cards delivered.

The 4-H office is down to 4 cases of Coke Zero and 3 cases of Diet Coke. We sure would like to get these sold and moved out so we can make room for our Krispy ...Kreme Doughnuts and Vidalia Onions which will be arriving soon!
