I love this photo! We took this in December of 2015 the year Mom was diagnosed. I knew right away I wanted to schedule professional photos with Mom and Jim so we would have pictures like this to cherish forever. I’m so glad Stephanie our photographer captured this moment. As I sit here next to Mom in the hospital, warm salty tears stream down my face. There is no greater pain to to watch your loved ones suffer and not be able to do anything about it. She is finally sleeping.... Thank goodness for the amazing nurses and doctors and staff that Piedmont Hospital employs! They are true angels here and have made Mom as comfortable as possible. Mom had an endoscopy earlier today and unfortunately it did not give us the answers we needed. She is prepping tonight for a colonoscopy tomorrow in hopes that we will find out what is causing the bleeding she is having. The doctors are keeping a close eye on her and are making plans for whatever direction we need to go with this. It is not easy and I want to scream!!! Instead I will pray that whatever needs to happen will and there will be comfort and peace. Mom, Jim and I want to tell you all how grateful we are for your sweet messages! Mom loves for me to read her what everyone has said Thank you so much...

Happy national daughter day! I am beyond blessed to have two fabulous daughters and one that is like a daughter to me!!! Happy belated birthday to my Ella Bella who I neglected to give a shout out to on her actual birthday! Love you beyond measure!!!
