Students at our KAC Northside Elementary School site have been busy as bees! They have enjoyed completing lots of creative projects during this spring season.

Happy Easter everyone! Students from our Omega KAC site enjoyed the nice spring weather along with celebrating Easter.

Our KAC boys and girls made an Easter treat for our front office staff! Thank you Mrs. Young and all our KAC staff for all the support and care you give our students after school every day!

It is a windy day in Tifton but it didn’t stop us all from coming together to show our support Against Child Abuse. The blue ribbon is a reminder of Child Abuse during the month of April. KAC is a proud supporter against child abuse. THERE’S NO EXCUSE FOR ABUSE!

Spring has sprung! Students at our GO Bailey and Matt Wilson KAC sites enjoyed welcoming spring this week by creating their very own baby bird craft. Look how adorable these turned out!!

Take the time to register! The auction started this morning. KAC has 2 $200 gift certificates available to bid on. There are many other great items from our local businesses in town to bid on as well. Bid, bid, bid!!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Students at our Matt Wilson KAC site enjoyed making leprechauns today! Everyone was sure to end the day with fun and good luck!

The students at our JT Reddick KAC site enjoyed a demonstration from Snapology of Tifton. Students learned basic engineering- forces and motions. After listening to the presentation, they were then able to build a catapult and a parade float. Everyone loved putting their brains to work!

Are you ready to join BIDS FOR KIDS to help advocate against child abuse? The Exchange Club of Tifton’s 2021 on-line auction will begin in two weeks (March 23-25). Be sure to preregister for this event. It is super easy! Login to the website address provided and fill out the registration blanks. Encourage your friends and family to do the same. Every dollar raised will be given back to our local community to help advocate against child abuse. KAC will have two $200 gift certificates up for bid. There will be many other items to bid on as well!!! Please help support this great cause!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR. SEUSS!!! In honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday (March 2nd) and Read Across America Week, the students and staff at our Len Lastinger and GO Bailey sites enjoyed doing several activities. The fun started with listening to one of Dr. Seuss’s famous books, Bartholomew and the Oobleck and ended with making their very own bowl of Oobleck.

Happy Presidents’ Day! The staff and students at our GO Bailey KAC site enjoyed creating patriotic flags in honor of all U.S. Presidents!

How cute are these? Our KAC students at our Len Lastinger site got crafty this week creating their very own unique Valentine’s Day card. Each card was decorated with colorful torn pieces of paper that expressed I Love You to Pieces.

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! Students at our Omega KAC site enjoyed decorating heart cookies and preparing Valentine’s for their special someone. We wish everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14th!

Schools go back to GREEN starting next week. KAC will run as normal.
