Every year thousands of volunteers assist with programs and work around Allatoona Lake. We would like to recognize their efforts during National Volunteer Week ...as well as the different agencies and organizations that are involved with recruiting and leading the volunteer efforts. Thank you to the Lake Allatoona Association, the Great Lake Allatoona Cleanup Committee, the Allatoona Lake Warriors, Keep Bartow Beautiful, Cherokee County Safe Kids, Towboat US Allatoona, Georgia Department of Natural Resources Fisheries Division, Marietta Bassmasters, E3 Bassmasters among others, and of course the individual volunteers that have worked on a wide range of environmental, recreational and public safety needs. Volunteers stand up and take a bow! #volunteersmakeadifference #volunteersrock #volunteerappreciation @TheGreatLakeAllatoonaCleanUpGeorgia @KBB.5167 @MariettaBassmasters @safekidscherokeecounty
