#Parents don't let the kids eat all the candy canes that you have at the house, save a few for this cool chemistry experiment idea from @girlscandosciencetoo What happens when you put a candy cane in oil, water, and vinegar? The water immediately began to break down the candy cane. After 10 minutes, the coloring was dissolved in the water and vinegar. No change occurred in the oil. After 25 minutes, the water almost completely dissolved the candy cane. The candy cane in the vinegar was about 90% dissolved. STILL no change in the oil .
