She just went on the market and I’m afraid for not very long. That’s why I wanted to go ahead and share some pictures of the fabulous work our team did on this one. This house is a Tudor style home. Tudor style, a type of British architecture that dates back from 1485 to 1558. Two of the Tudor monarchs, most of you are f...amiliar with, are Henry VII and Elizabeth I. This type of construction is a distinctive building style in the history of Englands culture. Many characteristics of a Tudor style home include a lavish use of half-timber work, large groups of rectangular windows, a rich oriel, or bay, windows, complex roofs with many gables, interesting and sometimes fantastic chimney treatments, and much brickwork, frequently in patterns like this one that features a herringbone accent pattern.
