We recorded a series of videos that answer questions families have about estate planning, probate and other unique documents that secure the rights of LGBT couples that are considered to be unmarried under Georgia law. These aren’t commercials that are all about us and our firm, these are free educational videos that you will be able to watch directly on your mobile device or desktop. We treat our clients with respect and honesty, present them with effective plans, and make sure our clients understand their plans before leaving our office.

If you and your sibling co-own a house, what happens to it when one of you dies? There's multiple ways to share ownership of a property. "I can remember when I did my first will. I was an 18-year-old soldier preparing to be deployed to Iraq. Already scared out of my mind, I’m sitting in a room with around 50 other soldiers when a guy from Legal is passing out this 1 sheet of paper that literally has Last Will at the top and we basically fill it out as if it’s a simple questionnaire. I believe that experience is why I take pride in my job at Modern Estate Planning. We try to make the planning of our demis...e as pleasant as possible and not give me an unpleasant feeling that haunts me almost 17 years later.
