Sensory bags make great learning activities to go along with your thematic units like this one where our Private Pre-k class was learning about the ocean. Sensory bags also encourage children to use the small muscles in their hands and fingers, to help develop their fine motor skills.

Our Private Pre-k class worked on their cognitive skills by rolling a dice matching the number on the dice to their paper and then counting out the color Pom-poms to match the number on the paper and dice for number recognition. Also, they worked on writing the letter Z. Handwriting skills help children develop reading and spelling skills.

Kids’ Galaxy will delay school opening three hours and open at 9am on Tuesday, February 16th due to the possibility of icy road conditions. This includes Preschool, Pre-K and Digital Learning.

Today our infant-private pre-k room enjoyed having a Valentine’s Day dance! The children enjoyed dancing, singing, and making sing request for Baby Shark and Let it Go. We hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend!

The Gwinnett County Fire Department and Marshall from Paw Patrol made a surprise visit to teach our children about fire safety! The children were so excited to receive their coloring books and a goody bag! Thank you for coming out and teaching our children about fire prevention!
