She has certificates and additional training in mental health, arbitration, mediation,campaign training via Yale School for Women , and other certificates. She has been operating her own law office since 2003. She has also served as a city solicitor, municipal court judge, and a former candidate for Georgia State Senate. She is an author, enrichment coach via training only, cheerleader for public and community good, mother of two sons, a grandmother, and more.

Mindset Monday will continue to focus on various topics. One of the topics which has been a focus point this year has been anti discrimination awareness. I li...ke to call the topic collectively, the "isms." We most hear about racism and sexism. I want to also focus on disability "ism " I come across many folks with disabilities at times. My father lost both his legs. Until his death, I still felt that he had value and I knew so from my interaction with him. In recent years, I developed a slight speech impediment which at times is noticeable when I talk. Such has made me sensitive to the plight of the disability community too. I am encouraging anti discrimination efforts which harm or mock any group. I believe a person of any race is able to lead. I believe a person of any gender is able to lead. I believe people with disabilities or some type of impediment is able to lead. As I said with the topic of modern day slavery, lynching, and oppression, many folks who benefitted from civil rights joined with the traditional oppressors to oppress for certain benefits. Likewise, I frown upon all folks who attempt to oppress, hinder, or the like in the form of oppression or discrimination and folks who do so are not just your typical oppressors or folks who discriminate.
