LCCL Strawberry Farm

Here’s what we found in the morning after a long night of frost protection!!! Yellow blooms and white blackberry blooms!! So thankful that they survived the cold!!

We had an interesting night last night frost protecting the strawberries, blueberries and blackberries!! Thanks to Ron Dobbs for starting around 3:00 this morning and protecting our farm til 8:00!! This is the latest we’ve ever had to frost protect!! And it definitely got colder than they said it was going to get!! I’ll post more pictures. Can’t post them with this video! Thought y’all would like to see this!!

We will be open on Thursday, April 22 from 10-6. We are opening a little later due to the chance of frost!! U pick- $2.50 per pound Pre picked- $4.00 per pound ... We will be closed on Tuesday, April 20 to let the berries ripen and please check back for availability the rest of the week daily! Thanks to everyone that has come out to patch so far and can’t wait to see everyone at the patch soon!! Remember this is just the beginning of the season and we will more berries for the next 5-6 weeks!!

Happy Fourth of July!! We will be open Saturday, July 4th from 8:30-1:00. We will have u pick blueberries as well as pre picked blueberries while supplies last! ... We will also have pre picked blackberries while supplies last! We will have strawberry ice cream as well as frozen ice cream which is great to put in the freezer for later! Also, now is a good time to come and stock up on your jams and honey for the winter! They make the perfect little gift!! If you have a container to take your berries home in we would appreciate you bringing it! Come get your blackberries and blueberries while we still have them available!!
