Dear friends, I hope you're all staying well, healthy, and safe thru this terrible time we are all facing. Lina and I are so so grateful for all of the love and support you all have shown. We truly appreciate all of the help that has been sent our way thru the last month and a half, but also these last two years since Melon opened! The love from you all is forever shining, and we thank you! To update you all, Lina and I have chosen to remain social distancing for a bit longe...r and listen to the scientists on staying home. Unfortunately, since Kemp has opened up all salons, this means Salon Lofts has started charging their weekly rent, whether you decide to open or not. The only option Salon Lofts offered to us was to defer payment that they would then add on top of our already pricey rent in a month or so. It just so happens our lease will be up July 1st, so we were in a bit of tough decision on what to do next. And frankly, thru this all, Salon Lofts has been a bit disappointing. Unfortunately, there would be no way we would be able to keep our Melon loft and not start taking clients immediately. Therefore, sadly, Lina and I decided to pay out of our lease. Now I know a lot of you have been oh so generous with purchasing gift cards, and some who have even donated thru our personal venmo, which I am forever grateful for that!!...and honestly blown away! But since we are not sure on a return date (although we are hoping for July), and we are not sure on a location yet, this means we will not be rescheduling yet. If you for ANY reason need a refund on your gift card, there will be no questions asked! Please just email us and we will get that done as soon as possible, no awkward feelings!And if you'd like to continue support, there is a link added to our bio where you can purchase hair products thru Hairstory and we will receive commission!
