On Thursday, January 14, 2021, the Monroe County Drug Unit along with the Monroe County SERT team executed a search warrant at a home on Towaliga South Road in Monroe County. After executing the search warrant, Joe Larry Brewer Jr. was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has arrested and charged Frank Settambrino as the result of an ongoing investigation. He has been charged with trafficking/distribution methamphetamine and possession of stolen property. Upon executing a search warrant of the property, Investigators found 1280 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 12 firearms, and stolen property.

SCAM ALERT The Monroe County Sheriff's Office has received multiple complaints about three males going to houses attempting to sell pine straw to homeowners. The males offer to sale and place the pine straw at a low rate and then once the work is complete, they raise the amount drastically. The Sheriff's Office recommends that you have no interaction with these men and do not allow them to do any work on your property. Monroe County Deputies have CAPTURED Anthony Lee Hall. He was found on Hwy 87 south of Juliette Road and was immediately taken into custody with no incident. Hall will be transported to the Monroe County Jail to await charges. Thank you so much for your help!
