David trusted in God for his own salvation, and believed that he would one day go to the KINGDOM. David wrote, My heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will rest in hope. For you will not leave my soul in Sheol, in your presence is fullness of joy, at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11. In saying that David would go to him, David was clearly suggesting that he would be joining his infant son in the Kingdom upon his own death. Clearly, if ...David believed that he would not see his son again, he would have expressed greater grief then he did at the death of his infant son. Later in David’s life, David experienced the death of a second son, though under far different circumstances. 2 Samuel 18. This son, Absalom, was killed after Absalom’s unsuccessful attempt to unseat his own father from the throne of Israel. There, unlike the death of his infant son, David wept openly, not having the same assurance that his son Absalom would join David in the life to come. 2 Samuel 18: 33. In David’s case, David had the assurance that he would see his son because he trusted in YAHWEH. That is, while David’s son was saved by grace, David was saved by grace through faith. We cannot make the same assumption about seeing our own deceased child unless we trust Yeshua, in faith, for our salvation. If you have not already trusted in Yeshua for your salvation, there is no more appropriate time then now.

Do YOU Have The NEW COVENANT Written on Your HEART! Hebrews 8:10 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB) 10 ‘For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Isra’el after those days,’... says Adonai: ‘I will put my Torah in their minds and write it on their hearts; I will be their God, and they will be my people.

Ok... I see this statement a lot. "Well Paul says if you keep the law but miss one point you are guilt of breaking the whole law." My response in all gentlessne...ss, longsuffering, and in love: So we are not to try to live to please the Father? I say this as I know of no Torah Observant follower of Messiah who follows the law for salvation. Everyone I know, which is obviously admitted a limited number, follows the law as these commands were pleasing to Yehovah. What He considered right and wrong, good or bad. I do not believe He changes, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So i wholehearted agree ...if you try to keep the law for salvation, you must keep all of it for salvation. One mess up and you blow the whole thing. But this is never what the law was made for. Even the Old Testament saints were saved by grace through faith. What then, do we throw away the law because Yeshua came to show us how to live it fully? Do we cast it aside since we have been redeemed from the curse of the law? Do we make the law obsolete since the penalty of the law was nailed to the cross? God forbid. We are saved alone through the finished work of Yeshua on the cross. But this does not give us the ability to choose what God likes and dislikes now. That sounds like creating a god in your own image. The new covenant was supposed to write the Torah on our hearts. Has this really happened to you? Or do you spend your days looking for loopholes so you don't have to show your love for Him or your fellow man the way He said was good. Just a thought to consider brothers and sisters! Love you all in Yeshua!!!
