RIP acclaimed director Michael Apted who won an institutional Peabody Award in 2012 for his series Seven Up. The revolutionary series of decades-spanning documentaries profiled a group of young Britons and revisited them every seven years to see the changes time had wrought. #MichaelApted

Peabody shines a light on Dickinson today, as its second season arrives on Apple+. The award-winning dramedy follows the upbringing of American poet Emily Dickinson, portrayed by Hailee Steinfeld. The series won a Peabody for allowing history to be fun, and allowing its central historical character to explore her identity rather than serve as a dull if austere monument. This contemporary period-piece is a fresh and fierce choice for a winter binge-watching session.

As his final #Jeopardy episode airs, Peabody pays tribute to beloved host Alex Trebek. Since 1984, the Peabody winner hosted more than 7,500 episodes of the iconic gameshow before passing this November. Peabody honors his illustrious life and career.
