As the weather warms up and we start tackling those outdoor projects, and as we send our kids back to sports camps- it's good to know the differences between Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke. What do you need to look for and what can you do to prevent it from happening? What do you do if you think someone is suffering from a heat related illness? The CDC recently updated some recommendations on COVID-19 antibody tests. The changes may help you (or your child) avoid quarantine if you are exposed. This could result in less work missed, less school missed, and fewer missed activities like sports, prom and graduation. I am including the language from the CDC update and a link to the relevant page below. If you think you would benefit from antibody testing, we can perform rapid antibody testing at Prime Time Pediatrics an...d PrimeTime Urgent Care without an appointment. Results take about 15 minutes. From the CDC: Unvaccinated persons who have tested antibody positive within 3 months before or immediately following an exposure to someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 and who have remained asymptomatic since the current COVID-19 exposure do not need to quarantine, provided there is limited or no contact with persons at high risk for severe COVID-19 illness, including older adults and persons with certain medical conditions. https://www.cdc.gov//resour/antibody-tests-guidelines.html

Need a COVID test before visiting the Augusta National (or before traveling somewhere else)? Curbside testing for patients without symptoms is available at Primetime Urgent Care and Prime Time Pediatrics without an appointment and without a full office visit required.

Got a big trip coming up? If your destination or airline requires you to have COVID testing, we’ve got you covered. Rapid antigen, PCR, and rapid antibody tests are available at the curbside without an appointment. Please be aware that testing for travel is not covered by insurance. Payment is due at the time of service.
