Rhine Volunteer Fire Department

We would like to Thank everyone who came out and helped us cook and prepare plates to make this benefit a success. I cant say how proud I am of our group of firefighters Chauncey Fire dept and the Wilcox CI team. Most of all how proud I am of our community for coming together to help one of our own. Lee Kirkland is a great Chief, Firefighter but most of all a great man. One thing is for certain when someone is in need our community will come together. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Yesterday, the Rhine VFD and Wilcox CI Fire Team held a joint training session in Rhine. Due to location, the two teams provide mutual aid for one another to... assist with responding to all fire calls. The pictures below show the members working together staging the proper protocols to use when pulling up to a scene and setting up the pumper to fight a fire. This is team work at it’s best! We are glad to have a great working relationship with our friends and neighbors at Wilcox Correctional Institution!

Rhine Firefighters as well as the Wilcox CI team will be conducting some hydrant training this evening around town. Please stop by and see us for tikets. 6:30 until tonight. We appreciate our communitys support
