From Fr. Muir- I ask your prayers this day for our nation, for those who defend its values and for unity among all people. O God, you have bound us together in a common life. Help us, in the midst of our struggles for justice and truth, to confront one another without hatred or bitterness, and to work together with mutual forbearance and respect. May your holy and life-giving Spirit move every human heart, and especially the people of this land, that barriers which divide us may crumble, suspicions disappear and hatreds cease; that our divisions being healed, we may live in justice and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Please share on your page. You never know who might be in need of food.
O God, you make us glad by the yearly festival of the birth of your only Son Jesus Christ: Grant that we, who joyfully receive him as our Redeemer, may with sure confidence behold him when he comes to be our Judge; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. Merry Christmas to all!
From the Archives at Saint Paul's: "Our Roll of Honour" Today, we honor and give sincerest thanks to those who have served our country and fought for our freedom! Gracious God, we give thanks for military men and women, both from the past and present, and for their courageous service and sacrifice to our country and its people to secure the blessings of life, liberty, and justice for all. May our remembrance be a timely reminder that our freedom was purchased at high cost, an...d should not be taken for granted. Give us resolve to labor in faithful service to you until all share the benefits of freedom, justice, and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen" #VeteransDay

December 20: Rejoice #AdventWord
Some of our youngest parishioners gathered together safely this afternoon to celebrate the wonderful season of Advent. It is a tradition in our parish that our youngest members set up our nativity and share the story of Christ’s birth with their church family. This year may look a bit different, but as Father John said, it was the most perfect rainy nativity we’ve ever had! Thanks be to God!

We hope you will join us at 4 p.m. in the churchyard as our Godly Play class brings the story of Advent to its conclusion with Children’s Liturgy for Christmas Eve. Because everyone will be outdoors and masked, we are able to sing the carols that accompany the liturgy! Eryn Eubanks and The Family Fold, pictured here with Fr. ICYMI: Our own Nancy Hussey was interviewed on the Jennie Show yesterday to talk about her VERY cool quarantine project! Nancy has spent the last several weeks doing needlework for a kneeler that will honor President George H. W. Bush at the Washington National Cathedral. Her needlepoint work can also be found on 13 other projects in the Cathedral! Check out the clip below to watch her full story and learn more about the interesting process of creating these kneelers!

Today is #GivingTuesday and we are asking you to join together to make a real difference in our neighbor's lives! This year's Christmas Offering will directly impact the students at W.S. Hornsby School K-8. Our relationship with Hornsby gives us a wonderful opportunity to share the joy of this season. Instead of dwelling on what we can’t do (host the Angel Tree breakfast and sharing of gifts, making gifts of flowers and music) let us focus on what we can do. In working with the school we will be able to purchase special books for each classroom, a new sound system, and so much more.
