On Juneteenth, SalesLoft pledged to do more to make diversity & inclusion a priority. We want to give an update on the steps we’ve taken to deliver on our promise of making SalesLoft a diverse and varied workplace. This week we launched an ERG called Ujima, a Swahili word meaning collective work and responsibility, focused on elevating Black voices within the company and welcomed all Lofters to join. Together with Ujima, SalesLoft vows to continue the work of furthering the... personal and professional development of all Black Lofters. Our goal is to eliminate tokenism and abandon the idea that hitting a certain quota of Black faces at SalesLoft is enough. It’s not enough. Through the efforts of Ujima and its diverse members, we aim to make the presence of Black Lofters in leadership and throughout the company commonplace, not exceptional. #DiversityandInclusion

Today, we vote! Our offices are closed today to allow our Lofters time to vote and for those who have voted early to mobilize other voters in their communities. We believe every voice matters and every vote counts, regardless of political affiliation.

As for team motivation, each year I ask, what do we want to be known for? What’s our stretch goal? Obviously, we’ve got to make quota but beyond that, what’s the one big thing we’ll do to move the company forward?... And that becomes a rally cry we come back to when we need to inject some excitement or passion into our work. To move a bit quicker or bound up a big hill.
