This piece is float mounted in a red fabric to highlight the red text on this document, and set in a dark frame by Engelsen to bring out the gold of the center tree. #art #framingart #customframing #smallbusiness #supportsmallbusiness #antique #vintage #ancient

This quaint piece is framed in a burned wood frame from the Relics line by @omegamoulding, perfectly fitting the feel of this little winter town. Surrounded by a crisp white mat, the overall feel of this piece is rustic yet cozy. #art #framingart #customframing #smallbusiness #supportsmallbusiness #antique #vintage #town #antique #quaint

This painting, done on a canvas board, is set in a composed frame made of a combined floater frame, and a distressed and angled Engelsen frame. This is a great example of how floater frames can still have a wide profile. #art #framingart #customframing #smallbusiness #supportsmallbusiness #rustic #distressed #coast #canvas #paint

This shadowbox holds an interesting family heirloom- a deck of cards owned by our customer's grandmother, arranged in the hands of poker. The hands are arranged from worst to best, mounted on a neutral mat and set in a stock frame. This piece holds vintage yet timeless style. #art #framingart #customframing #smallbusiness #supportsmallbusiness #antique #vintage #cards #poker #heirloom

This piece was a shop favorite. The client grew up with this in their family home. When it became theirs, they realized the frame had seen better days. This is framed in the *spirit* of the original, but updated to full conservation. The cherry frame from Larson-Juhl, cotton mats, spacers, and museum glass from Tru Vue make this family heirloom fit to hand down to future generations.

We love this small series - it certainly brightened our day and hope it will yours this rainy day. The play of matte/gloss was the consideration for this lacquer frame from Fotiou Frames - keeping it minimal in the framing so the neon shapes pop. Tru Vue museum glass was the finishing touch.

White on white is a popular look right now - one we've appreciated for years. This look can be a little too plain for some, so choosing a more dynamic profile - like this one from @UniversalArquati that has a deep angle can add a little drama without trying to insert itself as the star.

This piece caused a bit of a conversation in the production area - we love how 'meta' it is! Photo of a photographer photographing art. Simply framed with the Bel Air lacquer line from Larson-Juhl (designed by Jonathan Adler) and a large 8ply gallery mat.

Isn't she ... pretty in pink? This was a fun piece to come through the shop - the Carnivale Hibiscus Pink frame from Larson-Juhl and the hot pink hand wrapped linen inner mat play well with each other and help highlight this playful piece.

We love the Forest Trail line from Fotiou Frames (shown in Riverside Blue) - so many possibilities, like this small canvas bought on holiday. The wood grain - knots and all - still show giving this frame a rustic vibe but still feels elevated. Check out all the colors when you're in next.

Vintage painting restoration can bring life back to a treasured piece whether it's in need of a minor cleaning, chipping paint, or a huge tear. The frame in bronzino w/white gold lip by #quattroframeworks feels just right with the piece - as though it was always with it.

We reframed this original by Creative Caricatures in a softer overall look to allow this impressive drawing to shine. The choice of a light wood from Larson-Juhl was to represent a baseball bat; mat colors (with hand painted inner mat) to match the team colors with opening for an authentic signature. Tru Vue museum glass to finish the piece.

We've framed a number of Hermès scarfs - for this one, our client requested a conservation acrylic box. Acrylic boxes are a nice alternative to tradition framing - both minimal by design and visually interesting within a collection of other frames. The iridescent purple silk fabric backing is a special order from Frank's Fabrics, Inc.

This antique watercolor of clam diggers feels harmonious in a frame with a more rustic feel. The warmth of the Maddison line from Larson-Juhl works well with the soft colors without trying to assert itself as the star. Cotton mats and Tru Vue conservation glass finish the piece.

This #ClaypoolLennonDelirium concert poster was treated to a The Chester Frame Company hand finished frame in acid green over orange. We think it's the obvious choice! Did you know they'll match your Benjamin Moore color swatch for a perfect match for your room OR art. Next time you're in, check out their selection!

How about a punch of color to help you through this mostly rainy week? This hand-pulled silkscreen could have gone a number of ways, but embracing the color was this clients desire - we love it! Floated atop an acid green fabric and finished with the POP line in Yellow from Omega Moulding , spacers, and Tru Vue Museum glass.
