Worked with my nephew, Thomas Shows, a couple of times on staying more behind the ball and shallowing the club. Results have paid off. Swing speed 122 mph, Ball speed 177 and carry distance 308 and a back nine score of 35. Fun to work with someone that can make changes so easily. But of course when your young, strong and athletic it helps. Thomas, your grandfather would be proud. Keep working on your game and you’ll soon be scratch!

Another nice showing for Joshua Myles. Scored a 41 in his USKids tournament at Chattahoochee Golf Club. Good for a third place finish. Congrats!

Always nice to receive texts like this one. Student Kimberly Duckworth had her best 9 ever shooting a 39 on the front with a 43 on the back. So excited you are playing well. HC keeps coming down!

Congratulations to Betsy Sullivan. Her steady play on the Peggy Kirk Bell Tour and Hurricane Junior Golf Tour brought her 2 big honors this week. First, an invitation to the PKBGT National Tournament of Champions in Pinehurst, NC in December. Second, a 2 night, 3 day trip including 2 rounds of golf in the Bahamas courtesy of HGT.

Little late posting but wanted to congratulate this young talent. He shot a career low tournament round of +4 in his GSGA tournament last Sunday. Good for 2nd place. Congrats Joshua! The hard work is paying off.
