Sweete's Dance

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I must postpone our Planes, Trains, and Automobiles recital. At this time our venue does not have heat and several of our students are being quarantined due to covid. I will be meeting with Mr. Chastain tomorrow, and we will be having our recital mid-January at Brooks County High School Gym (date TBA ASAP). Any purchased tickets will be honored at that venue. We will not have rehearsal tonight or tomorrow, but will have regular classes next week. If you have any questions please reach out to me, and again I am so sorry.

Dixie has no heat (but they are working on it) for tonight we will be at the studio. Remember, we will just have class during regular time!

As of right now all is on for the recital, but please keep an eye on the Facebook page as I will post notifications here first. For next week the schedule will be as follows - all in Dixie at the Dixie Community Center (please bring a mask and social distance): Monday: Monday classes only (older girls) from 3:30-8:00, classes will be during the regular class time Tuesday: Tuesday classes only (little/medium boys and girls only) from 3:30-7:30, classes will be during the regul...ar class time Wednesday: Everyone! We will run the full show, from 5:00-7:30pm (I will let the little ones go as soon as they are done) Thursday: Everyone! Full dress rehearsal (make up, hair, and costumes), 5:30-7:30 (I will be there for you to arrive to get ready as early as 4:00. Friday: Nothing! Saturday: 5:30 show (times to come) Sunday: 2:30 show (times to come) A few important notes: -Your child will receive their costume/tights either Monday or Tuesday -Tickets will be sold in groups of 4 only, cash or check and in person only (I can’t go through the ticketing company). Tickets are $7 each, so $28 per group of 4. -We will follow the BC School System protocols for Covid, please be patient with me these next two weeks!

Due to the Brooks Co vs. Charlton Co game Tuesday night we will not have dance class. Please remember all recital costume money is due today! You may pay by PayPal, Venmo, cash app, or in person tomorrow if needed. #gotrojans

After EXTENSIVE discussions with our costume manufacturing company and looking at the constraints of dressing room space for the recital, we will only have one costume per age group for the recital. So fees for the recital will be as follows: $75 for costumes (1 per dancer - no family discounts this year I’m sorry - includes 1 pair of tights) $25 recital fee (includes 2 tickets) ... $15 optional shirt ALL fees (including T-shirt’s money) will be due November 15 and tickets will go on sale November 22 for limited, socially distanced seating.
