If you’ve passed through our event space, you may have seen this beautiful and historic piece that is actually one of the early film projectors that was once used right here in the theater during the days of Charles H. Douglass. Crazy enough, the machine used to internally burn coal to light and power the projection. Interesting to see how far the film industry has come over the last century!

Did you know that this portion of the building is actually one of the original exterior walls from the main structure built back in the early 1900s? Even with the extension of what was, a two-story building next to the theatre (which is now our one-story event space), we have been able to maintain the integrity of this little piece of history along with so many other features from the theatre's beginnings.
