Yesterday I treated myself for lunch at the local BBQ joint down the street. What a meal for $15.....brisket, onion rings, mac & cheese and toast. Now I'm a big... guy and I was stuffed....this hands down was the best bbq I ever had. The place has a pit where they cook the meat and it smells so good walking in. I might go back today and have the brisket sandwich.....we'll see? Nothing like great southern BBQ..... #NoVeganHere

This FRIDAY, October 30 - "Georgia Grown" comes to Cobb County-Marietta!! Back in the Spring I was honored to be a part of the first Georgia Grown event in Cobb..., where we sold 1000's of boxes of veggies and fruits, which were grown by our Georgia Farmers. The effort has continued throughout the summer and spring, to help our Georgia Farmers sell their harvest. The format is simple, between 8 AM and 2 PM on friday, go to Williamson Brothers BBQ, there will be a drive thru, $20 per box cash or credit, each box is the same, full of delicious vegetables. No reservations or advanced sales required, just show up and buy as many boxes as you want! AND.....For every box purchased, a donation will be made to the Davis Direction Foundation and Feed Marietta.

We're happy to host the Georgia Grown event this Friday. Come out to support your local farmers, and grab some Q.
