Meet another Light Up MidTown muralist, Jeremy McCrary! We are thrilled to announce that Jeremy's permanent mural will be featured at Zoe Pediatrics on 13th S...treet. We will soon release a sneak peek of his mural, so stay tuned! For now, take a look at some of Jeremy's previous work. Jeremy is the owner and operator of Brush Central, a small business dedicated to the creative arts offering commissioned artwork, including oil portraits and murals, youth summer art camps, in addition to being a high school art teacher at Kendrick High School in Columbus. Examples of his most high-profile artwork are featured throughout the Columbus, Georgia community, including murals painted at Fourth Street Baptist Church, South Columbus Methodist Church, Key Elementary, Columbus, GA, and Wesley Heights Elementary School. He is a graduate of Columbus State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Art Education. His true passion is creating new work and sharing the gift of art with young people.

ZOe Pediatrics is looking for a Clinical Custodian to join our team for our location in Thomaston and Barnesville, GA. The Clinical Custodian works with Manager/supervisor to facilitate smooth daily operations. May be required to work at multiple sites. Must be flexible to respond to changing priorities and handle changing workflow. Will be required to stand and walk all of the scheduled shifts. Occasional lifting of 50 to 75 pounds and frequently lifting 25 pounds. Required ...working at elevated levels and will perform various tasks (i.e. emergency cleanups, construction cleanups, and room set-ups). The Custodian role is an essential function in ZOe Pediatrics offices. The position will rotate shifts to fill time slots from hours of 8:00AM -10:00PM. This is a full Time position that is benefits eligible for insurance, PTO, and paid holidays, after 90 days of employment. Responsibilities Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash and replacing liner, dusting, clean windows/mirrors and blinds, straighten chairs, magazines or books Clean and sanitize toilets, counter tops, sinks, exam rooms and restock disposables (e.g. soap, paper towels) Sweep, vacuum, mop, and sanitize floors Check and clean AC vents Pick up trash on property outside and any trash on floor inside the building Water plants and maintain fish aquariums Report major damages and oversee repairs Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors, check all doors at outside entrances and exits and other secured areas, notify designated person if irregularities are found *Key responsibilities are examples, not all duties may be listed and subject to change based on business needs. The Accounting Assistant provides administrative support to the Controller. RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations to assist with month-end close.... Asist with the preparation of the annual operating budgets and performance projections. Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g. by assets, liabilities and expenses) Reconcile bank and credit card statements. Maintain and update accounting records and files Verify payments and deposits made through the company account. Manage inter-company transactions. Assist the Controller as needed. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting/Business. 2+ years of accounting experience. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Working knowledge of GAAP. Strong analytical skills. Good problem-solving and time management skills. Highly organized and detail oriented.
