County Offices will be closed Monday, January 18, 2021 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Holiday. On behalf of the Colquitt County Board of Commissioners, have a safe and happy holiday weekend!

The Board of Commissioners would like to acknowledge the passing of former County Commission Chairman Joseph G. Clark. Mr. Joe passed away on Saturday. In addition to his many other business and civic pursuits, Mr. Joe served as County Commission Chairman from 1986 to 1994 and later served as the Commissioner of District 3 from 2003 to 2007. Mr. Joe also represented our great state as President of the Association County Commissioners of Georgia in 1994. He is one of only two Commissioners from Colquitt County to serve as ACCG President. The Board of Commissioners thanks former Chairman Clark for his long history of public service to Colquitt County and grieves his loss along with the Clark family. He was 88 years old.
