Update: Several have reached out to us concerned about any updates. These are updates from his wife, Renee. 2/14/21 "He is back on the paralytic. He is having s...ome blood pressure issues this morning. Please just pray the blood pressure gets under control and that we can start to back down from the paralytic again." 2/11/21 "Matt had a great night. They were able to get the vent down to 50% during the night. He loves being on his tummy. When they turn him, he does not like it and they have to play with his settings and meds to get him settled so he is at 60% right now but that should be able to be changed throughout the day. Keep praying specifically for turning the vent down and his lungs to heal. Thank you to everyone from the bottom of my heart! I am overwhelmed by the love!" 2/9/21 "Matt is about the same today. He’s at 70% on the ventilator and remains stable. All of his other labs look good. He’s not requiring other medicines to keep his vital signs normal. No new concerns." 2/8/21 "Matt has had an uneventful night. He is still tolerating the feedings and vitals remain good. Just keep those prayers coming." **************************************** A fellow first responder, Matt Rogers, needs our prayers. He is in Memorial on a ventilator fighting a tough battle due to covid. He is a flight nurse and medic with Air Evac. This past January, Matt received his 500 flight wings. Five hundred flights is amazing. His life is dedicated to saving others and serving our awesome God. Please pray for healing for Matt and strength for his wife and family.

Try our new Traffic Complaint Hotline. This does not replace calling the Sheriff’s Office if we are needed. This is just simply another avenue to report repetitive non-life-threatening traffic issues that need our attention. We will assign Deputies to these complaints, and as part of their duties, they will spend time during the month patrolling and enforcing traffic offenses in those particular areas.... Again, this does not replace calling 9-1-1 or the Sheriff’s Office at 739-1611 if the traffic complaint is life-threatening and needs immediate attention. [email protected]
