The Robinson College of Business Career Advancement Center will host the Actuarial Science and Risk Management & Insurance Virtual Career Fair on Friday, September 11th from 11:00am - 2:00pm. This event will take place via Handshake. Eighteen employers have already confirmed their participation, and more will be joining in the upcoming weeks. To register, click here: https://gsu.joinhandshake.com/career_fai//student_preview ... Virtual Walk-ins are also accepted on the day of the event. The AS & RMI Virtual Career Fair will feature: Group sessions of 30 minutes each, where representatives can give a presentation about their company, let you know about open positions, take questions, or just interact/network with you. The first 10 minutes of each group session are open door where you can join or leave the session. One-on-one sessions of 10 minutes each, where students who fulfill certain employer-set criteria (such as major, GPA, etc) can book an individual meeting with a company representative. Employers will be finalizing their schedules for the day; therefore, students who register for the career fair early will have more options to join one-on-one sessions. Also, please make sure to take advantage of virtual interview prep workshops offered through the RCB Career Advancement Center. Don’t miss out!

With that said, the Department is pleased to launch our Fall 2020 RMI Resume Book. The purpose of the RMI Resume Book is to provide employers with a convenient way to view your resume and ideally, find qualified candidates to potentially fill openings. In preparation for this launch, please format/modify your resume to emulate ...your designated major’s template. #StudentSpotlight Congratulations to Chloe Ouedraogo on securing a 2020 Summer Internship with SCOR Global Life Insurance! In this role, Chloe supports senior actuaries, and gathers and analyzes data for reserve calculations. She performs reserve calculations by using innovative modeling software and providing detailed report interpretations. This includes updating models for new products and developing processes for new modeling needs. In addition to the above mentioned internship, Chloe is also the recipient of the Spencer Educational Foundation and IABA Scholarship. Chloe, the Department of Risk Management & Insurance wishes you much success in your academic and career endeavors!
