It all points to Yeshua (Jesus) ~ the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). God’s story in the Bible is about a lamb ... a male lamb, unblemished. The innocent lamb was a substitute sacrifice. None of the lamb’s bones were to be broken. The blood was applied so that death passed over. It was God’s deliverance (Exd 1-15) Yeshua (Jesus) was crucified at Passover. He was innocent & had never sinned (1Peter2:22, Heb4:15). Jesus, the Lamb of God, was... crucified and none of His bones were broken. So the soldiers came...when they saw He was already dead, they did not break His legs...for these things came to pass to fulfil the Scripture ‘NOT A BONE OF HIM SHALL BE BROKEN (John19:33-36). Jesus was the innocent Lamb of God who died as a substitute sacrifice. He shed His blood (Heb9:22-28). Jesus died once for all (Heb7:27). Wow!! Experiences that bring the Bible Stories to life We set up a TABERNACLE replica (made w/PVC pipes, drop cloths, cardboard) We entered in and saw Aaron, the High Priest; table of showbread; menorah; altar of incense and the ark of the covenant!! It was sooo cool to experience! What a fabulous way to teach about Yeshua.. Our Great High Priest, who entered the tabernacle in heaven ... the one made without hands. Yeshua made the once for all sacrifice of Himself (Hebrew...s 7:23-27). Therefore, He is able to save forever those who draw near to God through Him since He lives to make intercession for them Hebrews 7:25. All the children were dressed like Levities ( in white w/ white head coverings) and entered into the Tabernacle barefooted after ‘washing’ their hands & feet in the broze laver. They saw the light, they smelled the incense & even looked inside the ark to see the jar of manna, Aaron’s rod, 10 commandments!!

Young JOSEPH comes to visit & tells the children about his life. He tells how he was his father’s favorite & was given the long-sleeved coat of many colors. He also shares about the prophetic dream from God with sheaves bowing down to him ... but his brothers hated him, could not speak kindly to him and were jealous of him! Young Joseph told how his brothers threw him in a pit & sold him as a slave!! Then adult JOSEPH, the Egyptian looking man, came to visit and told us all ...about his life in Egypt.... as a slave, falsely accused & punished... yet raised up by God when he was given the interpretation of Pharoah’s dream!! As Governor of Egypt, all the nations of the earth came to Jospeh for bread to save their lives!! Joseph also us about the time his brothers came to Egypt to buy grain & bowed down to him (fulfillment of the dream). Joseph revealed himself on their 2nd visit & encouraged all Israel (his father & brothers & their children) to move to Egypt since there were still more years of famine. Israel multiplied greatly in Egypt! Joseph concluded by telling us how his bones were taken out of Egypt to the Promised Land when God delivered the children of Israel Afterwards, the children painted a large box representing Joseph’s coffin with picture events of his life (colored coat, sheeves, etc) Giving God Glory by Telling His Story Bringing the Bible Stories to Life VisualStoryBible Ministries
